Today marked the sixth day of summer. I realize I didn't write anything on the blog for the whole nine weeks of fourth quarter. I guess finals and full weeks of school took up too much of my time. I must say, though, I don't know how much more I would have been able to handle.
Summer's been off to a lazy start. The weather here hasn't been too lovely, but the girls and I managed to squeeze one good beach day into the mix. We've mostly been spending our time spending way too much money and watching way too much True Blood. If the new season didn't look so amazing, maybe I'd be able to find an actual use for all my free time.
Today, I watched Julie and Julia for the second time. While I admit I'd never have the determination to cook my way through that seven hundred page cook book, I decided that tomorrow I'm going to try to back the Chocolate and Almond Cake with the Chocolate-Butter frosting. I may have to go to the gym a few extra times this week...
For now, I'm just preparing for the doctor camp and getting way too excited for Europe. Hopefully, I won't forget to update for another nine weeks!
